Pool Time (Aug. 26, 2007)

Me flipping my boat in the pool Aug. 26, 2007 in hopes of a miracle roll -- but nope, just a wet exit and a nose full of chlorine.

With no water in the rivers, me and Baker decided to log a little time in the pool. Baker hadn't done a wet exit yet in his new boat, so we wanted to make sure he'd live given the off-chance that he should tip over on any given trip. He made it no problem.

My intention was to try to roll my boat, but it turns out what little progress I had made during a winter pool session, was lost quickly since then. My body just couldn't remember the technique. So basically, I just flipped my boat and floundered beneath it like, well, a flounder. I've gotta work on this. Jared stopped by later and we had a feast of BBQ ribs, chicken, fries, tots and well, flounder.
